Position Summary
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for managing our managed services customers, overseeing the operations of the Helpdesk, Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), and Project Management. This role entails leading IT projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring robust support for the company's users through effective communication and reliable IT infrastructure and systems.
Essential Functions
Operations Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Manage budgets, resources, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Project Management
• Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate and communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist the sales team in assessing the needs of potential clients and crafting solutions that meet their requirements and budget.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 5–8 years of related experience.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Project Manager, or in a similar role.
• Preferred knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field required; a Master's degree is a plus.
