Position Description- Senior Manager - Administration

 

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of HR/Admin will support the company’s goals by overseeing key HR and administrative functions. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring smooth office operations. The Senior Manager will lead the HR and Admin team in executing daily tasks, handling employee benefits and compensation, and addressing workplace issues. This position focuses on operational efficiency and compliance while contributing to a positive work environment.

 

Essential Functions

·       Implement HR policies and procedures to support company goals and employee growth.

·       Foster positive employee relations and provide necessary support.

·       Lead recruitment, staffing, and retention efforts to align with company objectives.

·       Oversee and execute payroll processing accurately and on time.

·       Manage and support the HR & Administration team in daily operations.

·       Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.

·       Support performance evaluation processes and maintain records.

·       Work with external consultants, insurance brokers, and service providers as needed.

·       Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies accordingly.

·       Administer HR programs, including benefits, leave, employee relations, and performance management.

·       Address employee grievances and escalate when necessary.

·       Track HR metrics and provide insights to improve strategies.

·       Maintain and enhance administrative policies and procedures.

·       Oversee office supplies, including beverages and tea bags for employees and guests, facility maintenance, and budget management.

·       Organize and coordinate company events and meetings.

·       Manage escalated customer service issues professionally.

·       Collect and report corporate ESG-related data as required.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Secondary Functions

·       Coordinate with group companies to explore collaboration opportunities.

·       Support additional HR and administrative tasks as needed.

 

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

·       Strong understanding of HR and administrative functions.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and administration.

·       HR certification such as SHRM-CP, HRCI, or an equivalent credential is highly preferred.

·       Experience with the Paychex payroll system is a plus.

·       Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

·       Solid knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

·       Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·       Willingness to continuously develop skills.

 

Working conditions:

Work is performed mainly in an office environment. Travel is required when the company events take place outside of an office. This position is subject to longer hours including the company-wide meetings and weekend company events, along with extensive computer work.

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
