What are the responsibilities and job description for the VAVE Engineer position at ITMC Systems, Inc?
• 5 years of experience in automotive product development or VAVE/cost engineering.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems: Powertrain (engine, Transmission, driveline and clutch etc)
• Experience with manufacturing processes (injection molding, part assembly).
• Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and PLM systems.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Familiarity with Ford systems and processes (GPDS, WERS, AIMS).
• Strong supplier collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Experience in teardown benchmarking and cost workshops.
