Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will lead major engineering projects, manage technical resources, formulate R&D proposals, and oversee performance management across direct reports while driving cost-reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead major engineering projects and strategic departmental initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, staff development, and resource planning for exempt and non-exempt direct reports.
• Evaluate, mentor, and guide staff on complex project assignments.
• Plan and formulate aspects of research and development (R&D) proposals, including objectives, applications, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
• Recommend and implement design changes and associated cost-reduction strategies.
• Consistently meet project commitments and deliverables for internal and external customers.
