What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Manufacturing Engineer position at ITMC Systems, Inc?
Job Description:
- Program, set up, and optimize CNC machining operations using G-Code, NC Code, and Mastercam.
- Develop and support manufacturing processes for precision-machined components and automated welding systems.
- Design and modify fixtures, jigs, and end-of-arm tooling using SolidWorks and CAD tools.
- Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Collaborate with automation and engineering teams for system qualification, integration, and process improvements.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing documentation, and process instructions.
- Support production builds, troubleshooting, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train technicians and operators on CNC equipment, machining processes, and manufacturing best practices.
Preferred: Experience with DMG Mori 5/6-axis machines, robotic welding cells, automation systems, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
