Job Description for Assembly Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing Welder
Reports to: Production Manager
Standard Workdays: Monday through Friday
Saturday and Sunday may be added as work level dictates.
Standard Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Hours are extended when work level dictates additional time.
Position Summary: The manufacture welder’s role is to take the ITM build prints and cut, drill, and weld metal materials to produce the weldment to the tolerance required. The employee needs to possess skills in MIG welding, TIG welding, Stick welding, Brazing, Plasma, Acetylene torch. A welding certification is highly desired. Company works most commonly with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Welding:
MIG, TIG, Stick welding required
Hold straightness of materials and weldments to desired tolerances.
Machining:
1. Operation and knowledge of basic machining skills.
a. If unknown training will be provided.
2.Assist shop manufacturing needs when welding volume is low.
Facility Upkeep:
1. Maintain a clean working environment.
2. Keep materials organized.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
2. Stand for prolonged periods.
3. Ability to sit, kneel, climb, and lay on the floor when job needs require it.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
