ITM Landscape – Lawrenceville, GA / Atlanta Metro Area $60,000–$80,000 Base Commission: Expected Total Earnings $80,000 - $150,000

ITM Landscape is looking for an experienced Landscape Designer and Project Manager to join our team. ITM Landscape is an accomplished installation design build company serving Gwinnett County, GA and surrounding areas since 2005. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with homeowners, creating practical and attractive landscape solutions, selling projects, and seeing those projects through from design to completion. Responsibilities include attending sales meetings, producing quality estimates and project designs, managing landscape projects, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and procuring plant and landscape material among others. Project types will include but are not limited to plant installations, sod, retaining walls, irrigation, lighting, and drainage.

We provide the majority of the leads, allowing you to focus on meeting with customers, designing solutions, closing projects, and managing successful installations.

The ideal candidate will possess 3 years’ experience including:

·        Bachelor’s degree in a related field and design experience.

·        Strong graphics knowledge, including hand and computer-generated color renderings, details, etc.

·        Project oversight including planting, hardscaping, and drainage projects.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills including customer relationship management.

·        Willingness to learn.

·        Experience designing with native plants and indigenous materials.

·        Computer software knowledge including AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

·        Meet with residential customers to discuss landscape needs, ideas, and budgets.

·        Develop creative, practical, and low-maintenance landscape designs.

·        Prepare estimates and professional proposals for landscape installation projects.

·        Present design and proposals to customers and close sales.

·        Recommend appropriate plants, hardscapes, drainage solutions, sod, irrigation, and other landscape improvements.

·        Perform accurate material takeoffs and develop project budgets.

·        Coordinate materials, subcontractors, equipment, and installation crews.

·        Communicate project expectations and details clearly to field crews.

·        Manage projects from the initial customer meeting through installation and final walkthrough.

·        Monitor labor, materials, and job costs to maintain project profitability.

·        Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the project.

·        Identify additional opportunities and enhancements when appropriate.

·        Work closely with ITM Landscape’s management and production teams to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

·        Experience in landscape design, landscape sales, estimating, and project management.

·        Strong knowledge of plants and landscape materials appropriate for the Atlanta market.

·        Understanding of landscape installation practices, including grading, drainage, sod, planting, hardscapes, retaining walls, and irrigation.

·        Ability to accurately estimate labor and materials.

·        Strong sales and customer service skills.

·        Ability to manage several projects at the same time.

·        Organized, dependable, conscientious and able to work both independently and with a team.

·        Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment.

·        Landscape design software experience.

·        Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and safety-oriented mindset.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience and sales performance.

The compensation structure can include base salary plus commission or performance incentives, providing significant earning potential for a designer who can successfully sell and manage landscape installation projects.
