Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

• Provides wide range of analytical support in areas such as statistical analysis and other Program Support Services duties.
• Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
• Expert in particular business processes, responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization’s business plan and industry requirements.
• Acts as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
• Document existing operations and practices, analyzing those operations and practices against documented best practices and developing a plan of actions and milestones to evolve to the best practices.
• Provides technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
• Prepares and/or maintains systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must have experience in working with: DOD Lifecycle management, DOD 5000.1, 5000.2 and Guidebook, PPBE, DPATS system engineering tool, Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) System reporting format for DAES, OSD report, SAP products for Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Four (4) years relevant experience
• Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess active Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is typically performed in an office setting.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
• Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
