Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Lead to oversee and drive the successful execution of projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management. We’re looking for someone who’s not only great at managing projects but is also hands-on in the field—someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working alongside the team, and sharing their knowledge. You’ll be a key player in leading job sites, training and mentoring field techs, and making sure the work gets done right the first time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead on-site teams for A/V, structured wiring, and security/surveillance projects (residential & commercial)
- Work hands-on in the field, performing installations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Train, mentor, and support field technicians—helping them build their skills and confidence
- Oversee all phases of project management: planning, scheduling, execution, and completion
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and the ITI office during field projects
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and industry standards
- Coordinate with office admin for documentation, parts ordering, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
What We’re Looking For :
- Proven experience leading AND working hands-on in A/V, wiring, and security/surveillance projects (3 years preferred)
- Strong project management skills: planning, scheduling, resource management
- Solid technical knowledge of A/V systems, low-voltage wiring, security cameras, and access control
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Passion for teaching and developing others—previous training or mentoring experience is a plus!
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bonus: Familiarity with Control4, Verkada, Resideo, or similar systems
