We are seeking a Student Financial Aid Advisor to become an integral part of our team! You will assist our students with financial aid options available to those who qualify within the federal, state and accreditor guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Advise students and their family members of available financial aid options
- Timely, appropriate and accurate processing of FASFAs, ISIRs, etc. Collect and process documentation required for verification.
- Understanding and accurately awarding aid within federal, state and accreditor guidelines
- Excellent communication with students and their family members through phone, face to face contact and written information.
- Perform general administrative work such as filing and data entry
- Previous experience in an educational financial environment
- Ability to follow and maintain policies and procedures and follow required documentation protocol
- Previous experience working with spreadsheets, data comparisons, etc.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in financial aid related, banking or accounting
- Associate degree or some college preferred but not required
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with evening hours; daytime hours Thursday and Friday; no Saturdays or weekends. Available for occasionally scheduled events which may require additional evening hours.
