What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Instructor position at ITI Technical College?
We are seeking an individual with an HVAC background to join our team! You will be instructing in a classroom environment for students training in HVAC Technology. If you meet any of the qualifications and would like to pass on your knowledge to others, apply now.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality technical instruction in classroom and laboratory settings.
- Maintain instructional supplies and training aids.
- Promote and instill safe working practices.
- Teach the installation and support of HVAC systems.
Qualifications: Required work experience in some or all of the following areas -
- Working knowledge of basic circuitry, AC / DC circuits
- Strong troubleshooting background.in area of expertise
- HVAC knowledge and experience needed.
- Maintenance experience with Low and Medium voltage equipment.
- Experience with breakers, switches, transformers
- Knowledge of NEC codes / NFPA 70 Electrical Safety
- Minimum of 3 years field experience in all areas of expertise.
Candidates will need to be able to provide documented training in electricity and/or electronics.
Work Schedule: Be available to teach 1 to 3 classes on one of or more of the following schedule; Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and some Thursdays. Morning class sessions 8:00am until 12:00pm. AND / OR Evening class sessions 5:30pm until 9:30pm. NO WEEKENDS
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
