The following contract position may be available for the 26-27 school year
Elementary Music Teacher
Radnor Elementary School
Qualifications:
· PA Certificate – Music K-12
· Develop, lead, and sustain a successful elementary music program
· Provide dynamic music instruction for K–5 students
· Plan and lead choral rehearsals and performances (4th & 5th grades)
· Work with special area teachers to support and foster school-wide climate and culture
· Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
· Demonstrate strong classroom management and rehearsal techniques
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
· Communicate clearly and consistently with parents and colleagues
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
· Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate K-5 music programming
· Collaborate with the district elementary band and orchestra teachers as needed
Preferred Skills:
· Ability to accompany ensembles on piano preferred
· Experience integrating technology into instruction (e.g., SmartMusic or similar platforms)
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Elementary teaching experience preferred
· Carl Orff certification preferred
