Position Title: Reading Teacher- DeWitt (Internal and External)
Brief Description: Provide culturally responsive and inclusive literacy instruction in integrated settings for children in need of intensive, accelerated instruction, specifically linked to progress monitoring that uses both qualitative and quantitative data. Provide engaging opportunities in an inclusive classroom that affirms and validates all students as listeners, speakers, readers, writers, viewers and thinkers.

The Ithaca City School District is a 1:1 district in grades 3-12. Please provide examples of how you have used or your vision for using digital technology in instruction. Also, please provide evidence of how you stay current with students' digital world.
Required Qualifications:

All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification in Reading or Literacy (Birth-6, K-12, or 5-12 )or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. This requires at least a Bachelor's degree. Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.
