Job Description
The Site Assessment Project Manager will provide leadership and technical oversight for environmental site assessments and remediation activities across multiple projects within a major educational facilities program. The role involves managing contractors, controlling budgets and schedules, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Minimum Required Experience
- 7 years of full-time experience managing environmental investigations and remediation projects under the direction of regulatory agencies such as the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) or comparable authority.
- Strong knowledge of DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) protocols.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and contractors for environmental and site assessment programs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
