Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily activities of a team of technicians or workers in telecom cable construction projects to ensure project execution as per the timelines, quality and cost.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, certifications, and company policies to ensure safety standards and compliance with regulations.
- Assign tasks and schedules to team members including ITG employees and employees of business partners, ensuring correct resource allocation and equipment availability to optimize utilization, productivity and delivery.
- Monitor work progress and quality, ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, including linemen and drillers.
- Address and resolve operational issues as they arise, including on-site customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management review to enable timely decision making and intervention for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in telecom cable construction (aerial or underground)
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proven track record of safe work practices and quality delivery
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and construction work practices
- Familiarity with telecom, broadband, and power industry projects
- Experience with construction management software and tools
- Understanding of basic financial concepts related to project budgeting/ cost
- Supervisory skills and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality in all operations
- Ability to adapt and make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit
- Ability to use hands to handle or feet
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
