Position Title: Health Aide
Location: 1915 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA, 31406
Pav Rate: $24/hr
Openings: 7pm-7:30am
Job Responsibilities:
Assists in administration of medications and treatments, takes vital signs, and/or draws blood or collects other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse
Bathes, grooms, shave and dresses clients
Conducts activities for recreation and socialization
- Ensures safety and security of clients
- Feeds clients who are unable to feed themselves
- Observes and documents patient data, behavior and activity
- Prepares clients for treatment or examination
- Provides chents with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed
- Transports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher Receives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare is required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push and pull and stand for long periods of time.
- Current Life Saver Certification is required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
