Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer to install, maintain, upgrade, and support IBM z/OS environments, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and system software.
- Manage SMP/E, RACF, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, USS, and TCP/IP.
- Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support disaster recovery activities.
- Implement security controls and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of z/OS Systems Programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, RACF, JES2/JES3, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and TCP/IP.
- Experience with system performance tuning and problem resolution.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with CICS, Db2, MQ, IMS, z/VM, and automation tools.
- Exposure to mainframe modernization and DevOps practices.
