Position: Power Systems Applications Engineer Network transmission
Location: Melbourne, FL 32904 or Bellevue, WA 98004
Duration: 12 months
Description:
Must have technical/functional skills
- 5 years of work experience in customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems
- preferably e-terrra AEMS - Reliance
- Should have worked on Power Systems applications for transmission (Load flow, contingency
- analysis, Power Factor etc)
- 5 years of experience with C , Java or other related language.
- 5 years of experience with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems
- BE. EEE, M.Tech (PS) 5-8 yrs of experience, Ph.D in Power Systems
Roles and responsibilities
Responsible for advanced Power Systems Application for Transmission software
development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate
project/product commitments. The responsibilities include: working with Electric Utilities or
ISOs (Independent System Operators) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) on
functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning
and delivery
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
