- Expertise in performing SMPE and Non SMPE Installation of ISV products)
- Expertise in IBM and Client Software product Install and Upgrades
- Mastery of DB2 and IMS Database management and utilities
Nice to have skills
- DB2 V12 upgrades or later
- IMS V15.5 upgrades or later
Job Description:
- Installation Upgrades Installing new DB2 and IMS versions and applying maintenance.
- Configuring DB2 and IMS subsystem parameters to optimize performance.
- Utilizing DB2 and IMS tools to monitor database health and application objects.
- Implementing DB2 and IMS security controls and collaborating with DBAs to manage application access.
- Performing SOX audits on database objects to ensure compliance standards.
- Coordinating with application and system teams to implement database enhancements.
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
