We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney / Associate with strong experience in commercial real estate transactions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, real estate financings, foreclosures, troubled debt restructurings, joint ventures, and title, survey, environmental, and land use matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transaction documents
- Advise clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing matters
- Support transactions involving foreclosures, workouts, restructurings, and joint ventures
- Review title, survey, zoning/land use, and environmental due diligence materials
- Manage deal timelines, closings, and multiple complex transactions simultaneously
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- Proven experience in commercial real estate law and transactions
- Experience with some or all of the following:
- Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Leasing
- Real estate financings
- Foreclosures
- Troubled debt restructurings
- Joint ventures
- Title, survey, environmental, and land use matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
