Senior Delivery Specialist
Introduction:
The Senior Delivery Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day data center activities, maintaining server environments, and coordinating maintenance activities with the customer. This position requires strong technical skills in BIOS management, Break/Fix procedures, and experience with Dell PowerEdge servers.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day data center activities
- Proactively monitor the data center for any issues and alert customers as needed
- Escort dispatched field engineers when applicable
- Manage LOIS parts inventory and documentation
- Maintain documentation of the server environment including serial numbers, elevations, and runbooks
- Coordinate with the customer for maintenance activities such as power and cooling maintenance
- Perform BIOS lifecycle management including adding users and patching
- Triage with Dell support for scheduling field service engineer (FSE) break/fix activities
- Update server versions as directed by the customer team
- Be onsite 5 days a week with no exceptions
Required Skills:
- Experience with PowerEdge Rack/Tower servers
- Proficiency in RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems
- Experience working in a larger server environment
- Ability to perform BIOS lifecycle management tasks
- Knowledge of Break/Fix procedures
- Familiarity with Dell server hardware
Salary : $60 - $70
