SUMMARY
Responsible for operating machines, handling materials, and use of other assigned tools, as well as powder coating paint products as they go through the paint line. Ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for operating machines as well as handling of materials.
- Maintain paint equipment.
- Load and unload parts on and off of the paint line conveyor.
- Keep assigned tools organized.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.
- Maintain high quality standard for products being painted.
- Understand general pre-prep operation, includes viewing product for defects before entering the paint booth.
- Maintain safe work practices and environment.
- Ability to move products throughout the paint area.
- Communicate as necessary with coworkers and supervisors.
- Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Powder Coat is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use a tape measure, micrometer(preferred)
- Ability to work while standing for long periods (10-12 hour shifts) with heavy lifting continuously under extreme temperatures.
- Can work successfully in a team environment and/or independently and is able to take direction from others. Self-Starter, Team Player.
- Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping throughout shift.
- Punctuality a must.
