Job Title: Solutions Architect – CAD/CAE Automation

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Solutions Architect with deep expertise in CAD/CAE automation and software architecture. This hybrid role combines hands-on development with strategic solutioning, acting as a bridge between customer stakeholders and offshore development teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in CAD software customization, full-stack development, and engineering workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solutions Architecture & Stakeholder Engagement
- Architect scalable automation solutions using 3-tier architecture (presentation, logic, data).
- Interface with cross-functional customer departments (engineering, design, manufacturing).
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable solution roadmaps.
- Propose and lead implementation of CAD-PDM integrated automation strategies.
- Own key deliverables to reduce customer bandwidth and drive technical leadership.
2. CAD/CAE Automation Development
- Develop automation tools using Creo Toolkit, JLink, SolidWorks, and Inventor APIs.
- Build intuitive GUIs using Java, JavaScript, VB.Net, HTML, and CSS.
- Implement backend logic and database integrations (MS Access, MS SQL).
- Create QC tools for model validation, BOM generation, and compliance checks.
- Deliver full-stack applications for modular product automation.
3. Process Optimization & Standardization
- Analyze and automate engineering workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Develop reusable, maintainable code structures for long-term scalability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in design automation.
4. Project Leadership & Communication
- Lead offshore development teams in solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align automation goals.
- Prepare user documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
5. Engineering Design Support (Preferred)
- Provide CAD modeling, BOM generation, and ECN handling support.
- Conduct basic structural idealization and stress analysis for design validation.
Required Technical Skills:
- CAD Tools: Creo (Toolkit, JLink), SolidWorks, Inventor
- Programming Languages: C , Java, VB.Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Database Management: MS Access, MS SQL, PostgreSQL

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
