We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns, airless paint sprayers, or auto body refinishing equipment with precision and consistency
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, welding, and heavy lifting to restore vehicle integrity before painting
• Conduct automotive buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets industry standards
• Utilize hand tools, grinders, power tools, and other mechanical equipment safely while maintaining proper respiratory protection protocols
• Assist with auto restoration projects by performing surface preparation and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance
• Collaborate with team members on auto estimating and customer service tasks to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or background in automotive painting and refinishing
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and buffing equipment
• Expertise in automotive surface preparation including masking, sanding, and auto glass removal
• Proficiency with painting techniques such as conventional spraying and airless paint spraying for optimal coverage
• Knowledge of auto body repair processes including welding and auto restoration techniques
• Familiarity with automotive buffing, detailing, and finishing procedures to deliver a flawless appearance
• Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to respiratory protection standards
• Excellent customer service skills paired with auto estimating experience for seamless client interactions
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and sustained manual work during vehicle repair projects
• Mechanic experience is a plus for understanding vehicle systems in conjunction with painting tasks
