Job Description
Work closely with the Bookstore manager to carry out the day-to-day functions of a retail store and coffee shop.
Follow all procedures and policies.
Earn and maintain ServSafe Certification.
Perform all duties related to the coffee shop, including opening and closing, assist in daily duties and must be able to make decisions without constant supervision
Charge books and supplies to faculty and staff.
Sell books and supplies.
Demonstrate knowledge of all coffee shop offerings and be able to execute in a timely manner.
Must be able to work with faculty, staff and students.
A knowledge of retail operations mandatory, and the clerk must be able to make appropriate decisions without constant supervision.
Assist in inventory of bookstore during last week of June each year.
Arrange displays throughout the store (gifts, supplies and clothing).
Be able to open and close bookstore and coffee shop and assist in daily and weekly deep cleanings.
Demonstrate knowledge of all bookstore and coffee shop offerings and be able to execute in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the appropriate authority.
