Role Description
This is a part-time US based remote role for a business saavy Healthcare Data Scientist. The Healthcare Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing healthcare data, utilizing data science and statistical methods, and creating data visualizations to provide actionable insights. The role involves data analysis, developing analytical models, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve healthcare outcomes and operational efficiencies. The role is a client facing position that requires someone that is comfortable with formal presentations and technoligy demos to clients and investors. This role is perfect for a data scientist interested in a career path that leads to a role as Chief Product Officer. The ideal candidate is flexible, willing to start part time 25 hours per week M-F 8am-1pm EST with the possibilty to transition into a full time role within six months.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Science, Data Analysis, and Data Analytics
- Strong skills in Statistics and Data Visualization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, software developers, clients and investors.
- Experience working with healthcare data is required. Strong familiarity with Medicare operational data a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
