WHAT YOUR SUMMER WILL LOOK LIKE
The Itaú Summer Intern will take part in a 10-week program where they will be placed in one business or support area for the duration of the summer, where you will engage in high impact strategic projects that will add value to the bank as well as your experience. This experience will be complemented by a mentorship program, networking events, speaker series, and an end of summer project. The goal of the internship is for the intern to leave with a strong foundation and cultivated skills, as well as an understanding of how a company such as Itaú works.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this internship program, you must be enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree program at a US University and have completed your sophomore year prior to the start of the internship program (upcoming juniors and seniors only). You also must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. We do assist with OPT/CPT, those are not considered sponsorship. This is an in-person internship, for 30 hours a week and you will be required to come into the Miami and or NY office daily.

This application process is for New York Office. To be qualified you must be able to reside in the area during the 10 weeks and have a valid NY, NJ or CT address.

Initial Interviewing process will begin on September 24th. If you are selected to be interviewed, you will receive an email by September 27th scheduling your online interview.
The Summer Intern selected will be placed in a department within Itaú during the full 10 weeks. This is not a rotational program. The hiring team will determine the department in which the intern will be placed. Within this department the intern will learn the daily tasks while working on an individual project that will be presented at the end of the program. More details on the internship will be discussed in the interviewing process.
