Responsibilities
- Learn our company's binding authority and under writing requirements.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate health, life, property, and business or casualty insurance policies that meet client requirements.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and clear client communication throughout the sales process.
- Manage sales administration tasks using management systems and follow-ups, and policy details efficiently.
- Stay informed on industry updates, insurance regulation changes, and product knowledge—including HIPAA compliance for health insurance—to deliver accurate advice.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as an Insurance Agent with knowledge of licensing requirements and ongoing compliance standards.
- Familiarity with commercial insurance products as well as health, life, property, and casualty insurance lines.
- Proficiency in (Word, Word perfect, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards including HIPAA for health insurance and benefits administration practices.
