Current Vacancies: 1 Regular F/T position. Pursuant to bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) provisions, only female applicants will be considered for this role.
Work Hours: The normal work day and work week shall consist of 12 hours per day and 80 hours per pay period, based on a consistent schedule procedure, overtime as necessary and approved.

Classification: Grade 8 (Local 494)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; Protective Service Worker
Position Description: Personnel in this classification perform skilled professional corrections work in the supervision of adult offenders in multiple correctional facilities, ranging from maximum to minimum security. Oversees and controls security functions and activities related to the care, custody, and well-being of inmates. The work involves an element of personal danger and physical exertion.
