Position Description: SM/SW; Provides work direction to custodial staff, assigning and participating in cleaning and maintenance activities in County-owned facilities including the Secure Jail Facility. Directs, trains and monitors custodial work activities, resolves problems or issues regarding scheduling and work priorities for the custodial staff. Maintains inventory of supplies, parts, and equipment for custodial tasks. Works with the Maintenance staff in operating, making minor adjustments, and assisting in preventative maintenance of security, life safety, HVAC, and electrical systems. Performs minor building maintenance, plumbing and electrical repairs. Serves as shift engineer for boiler operations.To View the job description, click here.

WORK HOURS, WORK LOCATION
Work Hours: The normal hours of work shall be 40 hours per week, overtime as necessary and approved.
- Expected schedule will be 3:30 pm - midnight.
- The position may be required to be on a rotating on-call status.
