The RoleWe are seeking a versatile Production Engineer to serve as the vital link between our Italian-based technical headquarters and our domestic sales and manufacturing teams. In this role, you will handle a hybrid of mechanical and electrical responsibilities, spanning design, manufacturing, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between international engineering teams and domestic sales/production.
- Engineering Support: Manage the technical library, including Technical Data Sheets, 2D/3D CAD files, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Design & Project Management: Modify components in CAD and lead engineering projects from procurement through to final assembly.
- Manufacturing & Quality: Support process design, integrate standardized work, and oversee Quality Control for incoming and outgoing orders.
- Analysis & Troubleshooting: Assist in investigating customer returns and performing failure mode analysis.
- Field Support: Join the sales team for on-site customer visits to provide expert technical insights and field assistance.
- Education: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 0–5 years in an engineering or related technical role.
- Software: Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred).
- Domain Knowledge: General familiarity with electric vibratory motors or industrial vibratory equipment.
- Global Mindset: Willingness to travel to Italy for specialized technical training and meetings.
