Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering food from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a clean dining area to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment using safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area through regular cleaning and sanitizing of tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately when needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food running and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold food safety standards during food handling and preparation, adhering to health regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
