Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to support diverse dietary needs
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Participate in food preparation activities including cooking, chopping, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Support catering events and special meal services as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing knife skills and other culinary techniques
- Provide excellent food service by attending to customer needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of menu planning, food safety protocols, and catering operations
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed for operational requirements
