Corporate Paralegal - Commercial / Corporate law

The attorneys this role will support are also in Birmingham.

Compensation : $80-100K depending on experience
What you'll be doing (duties of this position) :
Support a team of 5-6 attorneys specializing in corporate and commercial law.
Anticipate the needs of the attorneys before they arise.
Help ensure smooth operations for mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracts, LLC formation, bylaws, risk management, corporate insurance, securities law, and tax matters.
Manage corporate formation documents, EIN applications, Secretary of State searches, UCC filings.
Manage succession and estate planning matters.
Advise on international and business law issues.
Deliver thorough contractual support to clients across diverse business structures.
What you'll need to be considered (requirements) :
10 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on corporate law or transactional law
Proficient in corporate formation documents, EIN applications, CSS filings, Secretary of State searches, and UCC searches
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and other software such as Aderant, Intapp, and MS Office
Ability to anticipate the needs of the attorneys you're supporting
Ability to take ownership of work. Own the case and know what needs to come next.
