Shop Foreman

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Work alongside our Service Advisor to greet customers, write repair orders, and estimate the costs of repairs within set guidelines.
• Work alongside our Service Advisor to manage the Technicians and schedule repairs to maximize work efficiency and quality of work performed.
• Work with customers on scheduling repairs in the shop.
• Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled while exceeding the customer’s expectations.
• Inspect and, if necessary, road test vehicles upon completion of work to ensure quality of repairs are properly performed. (CDL required to road test)
• Manage daily activities of truck maintenance operation to ensure proper performance, repair, and safety of all truck equipment.
• Organize daily work and assign to shop mechanics.
• Review work completed to ensure compliance with company quality requirements.
• Hiring/recruiting qualified shop staff.
• Enforce all health and safety policies of the company.
• Record keeping, filing, and GPS tracking.
• Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Program.

• Maintenance experience requested but not required.
