iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs.
We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Slidell, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift. Our Diesel Mechanics can earn up to $50/hr depending on experience, skill and productivity.
The ideal candidate will be:
•Dependable and punctual;
•Have at least one-year experience working as a heavy-duty diesel tech.
Responsibilities:
•Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctioning;
•Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc.
•Perform Warranty Maintenance;
•Duties as assigned.
