Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social development.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages positive behavior management and emotional regulation among children.
- Support children’s developmental milestones through tailored activities focused on childhood development and toddler care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to child welfare standards and daycare regulations.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs.
- Assist in preparing children for standardized testing when applicable and support their overall readiness for preschool or private school transitions.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or training in childhood development or Montessori teaching methods is advantageous.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
