Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for individuals with psychiatric conditions. This role is essential in supporting clients on their journey to mental-wellness through a holistic and client-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy and medication management.
- Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Therapists, Social Workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Provide patient education and support regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay up to date with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certification
- Active and unrestrictive NP license
- DEA registration for prescribing medications
- Experience in mental health or psychiatric care preferred
- Strong communication, empathy, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $131,195.00 - $141,674.00 per year
