JOB RESPONSIBILITIES —
Your main responsibility will be to sell IJL memberships to busy singles over the phone. You’ll use a consultative sales approach to build rapport and discuss the potential client’s needs, explain how our memberships work and determine what will best benefit them. You’ll also select matches for your new client based on your interview with them as well as match other current clients. We have a comprehensive training program that will cover all of this to transform you into an IJL expert. Key roles and responsibilities of the role include:

• Able to handle high volume outbound calls - all leads will be provided!
• Conduct dynamic sales calls by quickly building rapport with potential clients as well as previous clients (70 – 80 calls per day)
• Interview prospective clients to qualify them for an IJL membership based on analysis of clients needs
• Achieve and exceed sales quotas and KPIs
• Manage client’s dating experience through matching, feedback and possible date coaching
• Collaborate with Dating Coordinators who provide concierge-level day-to-day service to clients

QUALIFICATIONS —

• The right candidate is polished with strong and effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Success in this role is being strategic, compassionate, with positive leadership influence, a resourceful self-starter who will compete with themselves while collaborating with team members
• Not afraid of hard work or asking for the sale, this creative thinker wants to constantly learn and improve themselves and believes in IJL’s mission and vision
• Marketing experience a plus
• Thrives in an in-office environment
• 4-year degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Strong telephone and in person communications
• Comfortable with a performance-based commission structure
• Money motivated with a desire to make over six figures
• Experience in 1-call close and 24-hour sales cycle

• Base Salary Commission Bonuses

Schedule:

• Qualified candidates will be able to train and work in the office for 6-8 weeks, Monday through Thursday from 9-6 and Fridays from 8-5 with a one-hour lunch each day.
• After 6-8 weeks, the schedule will include 3 (three) remote work days and 2 (two) days in office as part of the company's newly launched hybrid schedule.
