Title: Systems Analyst

Work Location: 1801 Main Street, Columbia, SC

Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC or NC or TN or GA resident.

Work Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Duration of the Contract: 12 months

Possibility for Extension: Yes

Pay Rate: $70.00- $80.00/Hr. Max 1099 Rate: $95.00/hr.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• OR
• Equivalent professional experience (minimum of three years) may substitute for formal education.

Required Certifications

• None required. Relevant certifications (RHEL, Oracle Linux, VMware, AWS/Azure) are a plus.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux server environments (RHEL and Oracle Unbreakable Linux).
• Plan and implement server upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain Linux automation and scripting processes (Bash/Python).
• Support cloud server administration across AWS, Azure, or agency-adopted platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support storage, virtualization, and network operations.
• Provide backup support in infrastructure domains such as VMware, VxRail, AD, and Windows Server as needed.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and adherence to agency security standards.
