Position Title: Network Engineer (Cisco/Meraki Infrastructure) (W2 OR 1099)

Pay Rate: $65.00-$75.00/hour

Minimum Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years experience with Cisco Firewalls
- 4–6 years experience with Cisco Routers
- 4–6 years experience with Cisco Switches
- 4–6 years hands-on experience with CCNA-level technologies
- 4–6 years hands-on experience with CCNP-level technologies
- Proficiency with Wireshark for advanced packet analysis
- Ability to communicate complex network designs and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 4–6 years experience with Cisco ISE
- 4–6 years experience with Cisco VPN technologies
- 4–6 years of Cisco hardware administration
- 5 years experience designing and maintaining LAN/MAN/WAN environments
- 4 years supporting Microsoft hybrid networking (e.g., AD, DNS, ADFS, Azure connectivity, PKI)
- Experience with 802.1X authentication and network access control
- Experience writing automation or scripts using PowerShell

Position Summary
The Network Engineer will support the planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of the Agency’s statewide network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring stable, scalable, and secure network operations that support mission-critical programs, with primary focus on systems supporting the Child Support Enforcement System (CSES), including PACSS and FCCMS.
The position requires advanced technical expertise in Cisco and Meraki technologies and includes coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and county-level IT personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
