Medical Device Program Manager

Project Description

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Program Manager to support a medical device organization through its transition from a public to private company. This individual will lead multiple cross-functional initiatives across manufacturing sites, partnering closely with internal teams, site leadership, and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment, execution, and delivery of key transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 2–4 concurrent projects with timelines ranging from 3–6 months (with some extending up to 2 years)
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across manufacturing sites, internal teams, and corporate leadership
• Oversee and guide Value Improvement Engineers (VIEs) to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using tools such as Smartsheet
• Provide consistent status updates, reporting, and communication to key stakeholders
• Drive execution of initiatives tied to operational efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Support change management efforts during the public-to-private transition
• Ensure strong coordination across multiple sites to maintain consistency and accountability
• Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager within the medical device industry
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams and multiple locations
• Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholders effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting organizational transformations (e.g., public to private transition, M&A, or large-scale change initiatives)
• Background in manufacturing operations or engineering environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred, not required)
• Experience working with Value Improvement or Continuous Improvement teams
• Team & environment
• Two value improvement engineers and 1 project manager that will support them, and will be working closely alongside the manufacturing team.
