Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data integration, transformation, and storage, and will play a key role in enabling analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Build and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and data models on Azure.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Optimize and maintain data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure SQL Database.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Implement and manage data security, governance, and compliance in alignment with company policies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Automate data workflows and contribute to CI/CD deployment processes for data solutions.
- Stay current with Azure technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in Azure data services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and transformation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and ETL design patterns.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
