This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with new non-viral nucleic acid delivery tools for in vivo and ex vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications. This person will be engaged in the analysis of novel nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals.

Position Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with new non-viral nucleic acid delivery tools for in vivo and ex vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications. This person will be engaged in the analysis of novel nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities (may Include But Are Not Limited To)
- Work at the direction of Analytical scientists to quantitate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids
- Analyze raw materials for LNP formulations
- Establish relationships between physiochemical characteristics of experimental nanoparticle formulations and their efficacy and safety
- Maintain detailed records of analytical data
- Interface directly with other functional teams
- Share responsibility for basic lab management activities (supply ordering, instrument calibration, maintaining schedules)
Education & Experience
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sciences, bioengineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency at formulating buffers is required.
- Practical experience using analytical methods such as RiboGreen, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), and Zeta potential measurement is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is preferred.
- Experience and proficiency with other analytical techniques will be considered.
- Proficiency at MS Excel is required; prior experience with advanced analytical software (Prism, JMP) is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent results and effectively communicate them to the team
- Ability to be a team player, multitask, work on multiple projects at once, and excel in a collaborative work environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
