Job Summary Job Title: Lab Technician I Work Location: South San Francisco, CA Working Model: Fully Onsite (Monday through Friday) (9 AM to 5 PM PT) Interview process: Two rounds (1 - cal with direct supervisor [30 minutes], 2 - panel [45 minutes]) Perform Physical testing of medical devices and combination products for R&D, verification, complaints, and stability programs. Perform laboratory testing in a cGMP environment and understand the technical and compliance needs of the business. Actively participate in continuous improvement to maintain the company's right to operate, supply to patients and cost effectiveness. Job Responsibilities

Basic knowledge of scientific theories, principles, and techniques used in physical test procedures. Ability to exercise sound judgement, reasoning and problem solving. Capable of completing assigned responsibilities in a timely manner under minimal supervision and keeping the manager informed of status. Good verbal and written communication skills needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations
Work Environment: The majority of work is completed at the location of employment in a laboratory type setting.
Leadership

- Perform testing of routine and non-routine samples
- Perform routine lab maintenance
- Perform sample filling and decontamination, and assist in lab complaints investigations
- Receive and provide training
- Coordinate with lab supervisor to support operational activities
- Identify and support resolution of technical problems
- Actively participate in group and project teamwork; project and process improvements
- Resolve issues as needed with management approval
- Adhere to cGMP policies and procedures, including documentation activities
- Meets scheduled performance of 95% on time
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/manager to support Quality
Education
- B.S./B.A. (preferably in relevant scientific discipline) or an equivalent combination of
- education and experience - not required, however, it's preferred.
- Minumum years of experience: 0 to 5 years
