Our client is looking to add a Program Manager that will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of technology initiatives across multiple client environments, ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure and data center–related, cloud (AWS) projects. This role provides leadership, governance, and coordination across cross-functional teams while managing both directly executed projects and projects led by other project managers. The Program Manager will focus heavily on data center moves and infrastructure modernization, while maintaining oversight of additional concurrent projects across client organizations.
The position requires strong executive presence, the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership, and a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies including hardware, networking, software platforms, cloud platforms (AWS) and data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
Program Initiation
- Oversee contract documentation and maintain program and project contract files.
- Lead development of Statements of Work (SOW) and contribute to RFP responses.
- Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations.
- Establish program scope, governance structure, and delivery expectations across multiple client engagements.
Program Planning
- Develop effort estimates for new project proposals and program initiatives.
- Define and maintain program schedules and delivery roadmaps to meet required timelines.
- Facilitate estimation activities for moderately complex infrastructure and data center projects.
- Identify required resources and collaborate with resource managers to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Coordinate planning activities across multiple projects and project managers.
Program Execution
- Lead and manage data center relocation, AWS cloud migration, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Provide program-level oversight for multiple concurrent projects, including several managed by dedicated project managers.
- Coordinate work across internal teams, client stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and solution delivery methodologies.
- Operate effectively in a multi-client managed services (MSP) environment, balancing priorities across multiple organizations.
Monitoring and Control
- Lead risk identification, analysis, mitigation, and control across all program initiatives.
- Monitor project performance, scope, cost, and schedule across the program portfolio.
- Manage change control processes and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Provide clear, executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and milestones.
Experience and Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required due to client industry requirements.
- Requires 8 years of experience in program or project management roles.
- 6-10 years of experience managing moderately complex infrastructure or technology Program initiatives.
- Hands on experience leading AWS migration projects; should have knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture best practices
- Experience supporting financial services clients is a plus
- Prior experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment, managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- Proven expertise in project and program management methodologies and solution delivery frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading data center moves, infrastructure upgrades, or modernization programs.

- Experience working with open systems environments; familiarity with mainframe environments is beneficial.
- Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($80-$90/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and/or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
