Job Summary:
We are looking for a QA Analyst with strong experience in Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing utility-based applications and a solid understanding of billing, customer service, and meter-to-cash processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and/or automation testing for Oracle CC&B applications
- Analyze business requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Validate billing, payments, customer management, and meter data processes
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ALM
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Ensure quality standards are met in utility domain applications
Required Skills:
- Over all 10 years of experience in IT in QA/Testing
- 3 years of QA experience with Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing)
- Strong knowledge of Utilities domain (Electric, Gas, or Water)
- Experience in end-to-end testing of billing and customer lifecycle
- Good understanding of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, etc.)
- Knowledge of Oracle Utilities framework
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
Nice to Have:
- Experience with integration testing (CC&B with other systems like MDM, OMS)
- Prior experience working with US-based utility clients
