I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

• Analyze, design, develop, and integrate future-capability prototypes for program including Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development and other critical leading-edge missile defense technologies
• Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system
• Design, code, test and implement tools for automation
• Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation
• Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently or with a small group
• Provide in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java
• Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline
• Follow specifications in order to develop or modify functionality within the code
• Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation

Qualifications

• Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3 years experience or bachelors with 5 years experience or equivalent
• Bachelors Degree in STEM
• Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred
• IAT Level II certification
• Experience with Java and spring framework
• Experience with the Linux environment
• Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools
• Basic Systems Engineering understanding to drive software designSoftware development with Java (or other object-oriented language)
• Object-Oriented development principles and patternsGenerate detailed and repeatable tests
• Must possess an understanding of Agile software development processes and principles and be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users
• Should be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines
• Application deployment, integration, and troubleshootingOperating systems experience with Windows
• Unix/LinuxExperience with the following: Eclipse IDE, Maven, and Git/GitLab, Python, Ansible

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
