I2X Technologies is seeking a Database Administrator / Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. - Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
- Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
- Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Ensures software standards are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (STEM)
- Active Secret clearance
- 9 years of professional experience
- Sec certification
- DBA experience
- Database programming experience, data management
- Database Patch/Lifecycle Management
- Disaster Recover and High Availability Knowledge
- Oracle Database and Products Knowledge
- Postgress Database and Products Knowledge
- Linux Database Installation and Management Knowledge
- Knowledge with relation to database design/coding:
- Object-Relation Mapping
- Data Access Object/Layers
- Must be able to install/configure the Oracle Database on Unix
- Experience with Object Brokers, DAL
- Container (Docker/Podman) knowledge focus on databases
