JOB SUMMARY:
Initiates, develops, and maintains relationships with regional medium-duty truck fleets and selling dealers, to grow ICTA sales volume and market share. A fully remote position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contacts regional fleet customers regularly through personal visits, telephone calls, emails, and texts to establish trusting partnerships and grow ICTA’s volume/ market share.
- Works effectively with ICTA dealers and corporate staff to expedite fleet assistance requests, truck shipping, and problem resolution.
- Contacts regional body companies regularly through face-to-face visits, telephone calls, emails or text to establish trusting partnerships and grow ICTA’s volume and market share.
- Identifies and attends industry trade shows to promote ICTA products, prospect for new customers and support body company partners.
- Communicates frequently with district, region, and corporate staff to achieve job goals.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to: Executive Director, Fleet Operations
- No direct reports
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related industry experience
- Minimum seven years experience in medium or heavy-duty truck business
- Minimum three years experience in OEM medium or heavy-duty fleet sales management
KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive knowledge of commercial truck industry including fleet, retail,dealership and body company operations
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sales and presentation abilities required
- Good interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL STANDARDS: The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports, or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.
Extensive travel is required, approximately 50-70% of the time, with overnight stays.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Supervises task team members (and direct reports if assigned), providing guidance, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability for results.
- Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational units
- Recommends modifications to operating policies
- Responsible for managing staff function or heads a centralized functional activity
- Accomplishes results through direct oversight of staff or through cross-functional teams exercising significant independence in their assignments
- Monitors work operations on a daily basis and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required
- May perform ongoing tasks of organizational units
- Frequent contacts with inter-organizational and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects
Pay scale for this position is between $116,680 and $148,766. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
